Day 66

This a bit late in getting here. I do apologize. I haven't been home all day today, plus I was having an Oscar viewing party with friends. More on that later.

So here is the final entry for Indies Week: the title character from V for Vendetta. From the graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. So...yeah. Tomorrow begins Supervillains Week! What horrible heels will I come up with? Stay tuned and find out!

Day 65

Indies Week continues with The Goon. I know...I didn't have access to my scanner so I took a picture with my camera phone. I will go back and scan it when I'm able. Anywho...Enjoy!

Day 64

...and day 5 of Indie Week. It's Witchblade! Not my best, I know, but there it is.

Day 63

Indies Week continues with Invincible and Atom Eve. I read the first five trades of this series, and I was hooked. I want to get the other trades and read them as well. I went with his original costume. I'm not a big fan of his current one. Anyway...stay tuned for more Indies Week. 4 down, 3 to go.

Day 62

So for today's Indie sketch, I went with the ever popular Death, one of the Endless from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. I really need to read more of his stuff.

Day 61

For my second entry of Indies Week, I went with Spider Jerusalem from the Warren Ellis/Darick Robertson book Transmetropolitan. I admit though I have never read this book, but it's definitely on my must-read lists. One of the things about this character that would make him very difficult to draw on a regular basis is his intricate tattoos. I know I would always need a reference at hand if I were to get this character down right. Anyway, Indies Week continues tomorrow with...well, you'll just have to wait and see.

Day 60

So today is the first of March, and thus begins Indies Week here on Sketch-A-Rama 365. And to start it off we have Mike Mignola's Hellboy, complete with larger revolver and massive stone fist. Sorry he isn't as good looking as Ron Perlman. Oh well. Now I'm off to start a new project that I will post up on my regular art blog: 90 Minute Works! Keep your eyes peeled for that one.
