Day 59
So February comes to a close, and so does my Alice in Wonderland series here on Sketch-A-Rama 365. And who better to close out the series than the titular protagonist herself. Yeah, as you can see I'm not used to drawing small children. That's something I'll need to work on. And thus ends another exciting month, but the adventure is far from over. We still have 306 more sketches lined up, and with a new month ahead, who knows what I will draw next? Guess you'll have to stay tuned to find out!

Day 58
Tumbling further down the rabbit hole we call the Alice in Wonderland series here on Sketch-A-Rama, we have the decapitation-happy Queen of Hearts herself. She's so awesome that people are losing their heads over her....literally. So, the Alice series concludes tomorrow. Try and guess what the next one's gonna be.

Day 57
The Alice series continues (no, not the "Kiss My Grits!" kind). It's that most unpunctual White Rabbit. Where is going? Where will he lead us? Tune in tomorrow to find out!

Day 56
So, in continuation of the Alice in Wonderland theme I got going on, here is the hookah-smoking Caterpillar himself. You know, in case you were asking it "WHO. ARE. YOU?" Yup. So...what else is in store for tomorrow? Tune in and find out!

Day 55
So, due to popular demand, I'm gonna keep up with the Alice in Wonderland theme. So here's a picture of the Mad Hatter. Yeah, Johnny Depp wishes he looked this good. That's all I've got to say, really.

Day 54
Here's today's sketch, as requested by Shannon. It's the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. And yes, I'm well aware that the movie is coming out soon. I'm not too excited about it though. I like Tim Burton, but I think his style is better suited for original stories and not timeless classics. That's just my opinion though.

Day 53
This project is going great! And I pity da fool who says it ain't! That reminds me, here's ol' Nightelf Mohawk himself, Mr. T, member of the famed A-Team and leader of the T-Force, and inventor of the Nightelf Mohawk grenade. Also, the man destroyed cancer. What's not to love about him?

Day 52
So for today's sketch, I did the golden age Batman, based on his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 back in 1939. Now I know I already did a sketch like this in my other blog, but I didn't have anything else really. Plus, I'm trying so hard to get this bent-knee look down pat. I'm still having issues with that. I felt I didn't get it quite down in my previous Wolfman sketch. I guess it looks better here, but still needs improving. Anyway, that's all for my rambling.
Don't forget to vote for January's Sketch of the Month. Details in my other blog!

Day 51
So for today's entry, I went with the Wolfman. I guess I got inspired by the recent movie. It was all right. But yeah. There's my Wolfman.
Also, don't forget to go vote for January's Sketch of the Month in my other blog!

Day 50
Fifty days into my 365 project! Has it really been that long? Sheesh! So for those of you who don't know who the heck this guy is, he's Lewis Lovhaug (a.k.a. Linkara), the host of the webseries Atop the Fourth Wall. Essentially he reviews bad comic books from Youngblood to Sultry Teen Age Super Foxes. And he does it in an entertaining fashion as well. If you ever have any time, check out some of his reviews. I recommend watching his review of Superman: At Earth's End, since there are plenty of recurring jokes in the series that began in this episode.
Anyway, that's all for now. Stay tune for tomorrow's entry.

Day 49
Today's sketch is Dick Tracy, obviously. I went for the more Chester Gould look rather than the 1990s Warren Beatty movie look. I always thought if they were to revamp this character, they should get Darwyn Cooke to do it. That's just my humble opinion though.

Good news, everyone! I got a new scanner today! And as you can see, it works like a charm! Speaking of charm, here's a nice little Zatanna for you all. Yojne!

Oh hi, bloggers. Here's today's sketch if you know who it is, awesome. If not...well I honestly don't know whether to feel sorry for you or envy you. Anywho, enjoy the picture.

Day 43
Well, it's snowing here in Georgia. And while to a lot of people it doesn't seem like a big deal, they have to realize it seldom ever snows in Georgia, at least in the piedmont region anyway. So to commemorate this occasion, I did a picture of Iceman, one of the original X-Men. Enjoy.

Today's sketch features Eddie the Head, the mascot of metal band Iron Maiden. I drew him as a superhero. I thought it was funny anyway.

Day 40
Has it really been 40 days so far? Jeez! Time flies by fast, don't it? Anyway, wasn't sure what to draw today, so I just went with a ferocious lion. Rawr! Yeah, that sucked. I'm sorry.

Day 39
So here's a picture of a Julie Newmar-style Catwoman. Meow! So a my friend Lan posed a question to everyone on his Facebook asking: Who was hotter; Julie Newmar or Yvonne Craig (Batgirl from the old TV show)? And while many are quick to say Newmar, to me it's impossible to pick from the two. Newmar was sinfully sexy, yes, but Craig was hot in different respects. She was the good girl kind of hot; girl next door kind of hot. To compare it with Newmar's hotness is just unfair. Apples and oranges, really. Anyway, I've rambled on for too long.

Day 38
So it's Super Bowl Sunday! And to celebrate this sporting ritual, I did a sketch of the controversial property from Marvel in the '90s: NFL SuperPro! I learned about this from the review on Atop the Fourth Wall, and I was like...man, this is so awesomely bad. Anyway, enjoy the sketch and enjoy today's game. Hope your team wins.

Day 37
Well, I think it's safe to say that my 365 project is already more than 10% done. 37 out of 365. Yeah...that sounds about right. So for today, here's the Big V himself. Enjoy it...or else.

Day 35
For today's entry, I thought I would do Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I made him look more like a turtle would look though, giving him more of a beak-like mouth and a curved neck that turtles tend to have. I just think it looks better that way.

Day 34
I decided to go old school today. Now anyone who knows me knows that I love to draw Superman, but I haven't really done any pictures of him in quite some time. So here is the iconic "shirt rip" where Clark Kent tears away his mild-mannered visage to reveal the Man of Steel he is. Yeah, that's where Hulk Hogan got it from...

Day 33
So yeah. My scanner broke, and I took a picture on my camera phone. So I apologize. Until I get a new scanner this will have to suffice. I will go back and scan all my latest images once I get the new scanner. Enjoy.

EDIT: I've made new scans of the drawing from here on out. Enjoy. :)
